September 30, 2021, marked the inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. This new statutory holiday is meant to honour First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Survivors of the residential schools system and to ensure that the Canadian public actively reflects and embeds meaningful change for reconciliation moving forward.
For many teams and organizations across Canada, this would be the first-time meaningful conversations were brought to their teams about what every-day Canadian citizens can do for reconciliation.
We crafted this resource with business in mind. We thoughtfully considered and directed our creative efforts to meet the expressed needs of all businesses and organizations.
Our goal was to create a resource that addresses the social emotional needs of businesses and their teams, and incorporates Indigenous perspectives, cultures, arts, and knowledge.
We believe business leaders want something that is to the point and user-friendly, and also has a nice balance between business-led information sharing and individual and group activities.
